Kelly Arnold Elected YRNF Treasurer

Sedgwick County YR member Kelly Arnold was elected Treasurer of the Young Republican National Federation at the bi-annual convention that was held in Indianapolis July 8-13. The state of Kansas sent 10 delegates to the convention, including 8 delegates from the SCYR's.

While in Indianapolis, the SCYR's were able to participate in multiple training sessions, including training on how to successfully use new media outlets such as Facebook and Twitter. SCYR and Kansas Young Republican members were able to network with YR's from all across the country and learn how other states have been successful.

After returning from Indy, Kelly spoke about the convention at the July meeting of the SCYR's to inform members who did not attend the convention about what occurred and what the YR's learned.
